Cutting Bình Dương Full-time

Grading hides, nesting patterns and cutting uppers, linings and reinforcements across the size run. On a leather order this table is where most of the yield is won or lost, which is why it is a skilled bench and not a starting one.

The plant cuts for all four lines — leather shoes, sports shoes, high heels and slippers — so no two mornings run the same materials, and the sizes you set up for change with the programme on the floor.

Every line the plant runs comes through this table first — leather shoes, sports shoes, high heels and slippers — so the material in front of you changes with the programme, and so does what you have to watch for in it.

What the day holds

  • Reading a hide: grain, stretch, scars, and where the pattern can and cannot sit.
  • Nesting the pattern across the size run for the best yield the hide allows.
  • Cutting uppers, linings and reinforcements on the clicking press.
  • Keeping the size run and the pairs together through to the closing room.
  • Marking and bundling cut work so the next bench gets it in order.

What we look for

  • YouA careful eye and steady hands; experience with hides or textiles counts double.
  • UsefulClicking-press or pattern-grading experience.
  • Not neededFormal training. Whether you can read a hide is shown at a table, not on paper.

The board lists what is open across the floor, and the open application is there for everything it does not.
